Privacy

We follow the Australian Privacy Principles. This notice is written for enquiries, bookings, and the small amount of personal detail that appears in a field study.

What we collect

From the enquiry form: name, email, optional workplace, optional preferred week, optional study type, and the message you type. From a booking: billing name, accounts email, and site host contacts. On the floor: first names or roles if a person agrees to be interviewed; we prefer role only in the written account.

We do not ask for dates of birth, medical files, licence numbers, or payroll data. Do not send them.

Why we hold it

To answer an enquiry, to quote, to enter a site, to write an account, to invoice, and to handle a refund. We do not sell lists. We do not use enquiry details to profile you for unrelated offers.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are kept for twelve months, then deleted from the mailbox we use for hello@toolkitwork.digital. Booking files, invoices, and the final account are kept for seven years, which is long enough for ordinary Australian tax and dispute periods. Tally sheets that contain no names are kept with the account. Interview notes that contain a name are reduced to role in the filed copy once the final account is issued, unless the person asked to be named.

Who sees it

Maeve Quinn, Rowan Hale, and a bookkeeper in Canberra. A host on your site sees only what they already know about their own people. We do not pass enquiry details to advertisers.

Rights

You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, ask for deletion where we do not have a legal need to keep it, and complain to us in writing. If you are not satisfied, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner handles privacy complaints in Australia. Access requests go to hello@toolkitwork.digital. We answer within a reasonable time, usually under thirty days.

International transfers

Our site may be hosted on computers outside Australia. The enquiry form’s mock receipt is stored as a static response on this domain; if a hosting contractor keeps server logs, those logs may sit overseas. We do not otherwise send interview notes abroad. If a future host would require a transfer of booking files, we will say so before using that host for those files.

Children

Studies are booked by organisations. We do not knowingly collect details from children.
